Let’s say you are craving for a breakfast dish on an evening or you woke up late and missed the morning menu, don’t think that this is the end of your gustatory cravings. Hitting all the marks, Peach Boy restaurant has the enticing dishes that can get right into what you really, really want. And we are just talking about presentation here. What more when you actually dig in?

The original concept of Peach Boy was inspired from the owner’s favorite and now, the restaurant’s specialty dessert, Peach Cobbler, as well as of a popular Japanese folklore entitled, Momotarō or Peach Boy, a tale of a young boy found inside a large peach who then became a courageous hero. Quite the neophyte in the restaurant business, owner and food enthusiast, Paolo Q. Rama made sure everything won’t come off as experimental. Prior to opening his own restaurant, he spent a lot of time in Los Angeles and New York sampling different kinds of cuisine, took a course at the International Culinary Center, and an externship at Tom Colicchio’s (of Top Chef fame) Craft Restaurant in New York City.

It would feel like you’ve crossed several countries with just one stopover in Peach Boy’s multi-cultural menu, created and curated with the help of Paolo’s friend and award-winning chef, Sonny Mariano. From Filipino’s best-loved breakfast to what you probably have never tried yet, you can order US Beef Tapsilog from their all-day breakfast choices, Adobo Fried Rice Omelet, Sisig Fried Rice Omelet, and five-layered Ube Lava Pancake with Ube Halaya sauce poured over.

Meanwhile, their pasta selection is worth twisting a fork into with delights such as: Laing Pesto Pasta with Tinapa Flakes, Creamy Aligue with Popcorn Shrimp Pasta, and Spicy Coconut with Pork Bits Pasta, which are served with a Filipino twist.

For some irresistible Japanese fix, you can choose from Loco Moco, Chicken Karaage, Teriyaki Beef, Pork Tonkatsu, and Shrimp Tempura.

You should also try some of their best-selling burgers-coconut-crusted Shrimp Po Boy, sweet and savory Choriburger, and Southern-style Fried Chicken Sandwich.

If you find yourself already inside the restaurant, might as well give in to their peach-inspired dishes. Go for the Peach Salad, Peach Barbecue Sauce Glazed Meats, or try how good their Peach Cobbler is. After all, it’s where all this began.

Oh, and did we mention their’s a peach tree that welcomes you to its warm, homey interior? That plus good food equals the experience and satisfaction to be well worth the trip.
