In this MEGA Profile exclusive, Belle Mariano reveals some of her favorite fragrances and why she loves wearing them
Fragrances are incredibly personal — at least for Belle Mariano. “Personal scents define you and your personality,” she shared when asked how she perceived fragrances. “It also reminds you of someone’s presence and memories.” As the case may be, it’s true: research even suggests that memories are most emotional when they’re triggered by scent, as opposed to anything else. All that is to say, fragrances mean so much more than what’s in the bottle.

In celebration of International Beauty Month, we are putting the spotlight on actress and beauty girl Belle Mariano. As for this special edition, we delve into one of her favorite categories in beauty: fragrances.
The ultimate beauty girl
The young star has already staked her claim as one of the most promising celebrities in the industry. Mention her name once, and everyone can easily remember her as Maxpein Zin Del Valle from the popular adaptation of He’s Into Her or as Caroline Tiu from A Very Good Girl. But apart from her infectious personality and undeniable talent, Belle Mariano is quite a beauty enthusiast herself — just ask her trusted makeup artist, Jake Galvez.
“She’s becoming a young trendsetter and we always make sure that we do looks that are original or we’ve never done before,” Jake shared in a previous interview. “Belle also likes experimenting with makeup looks! She gets really excited, especially if we create performance looks or editorial looks.”
While there are a lot of things to admire about the young star, it’s her work ethic, overall attitude, and positive mindset that made her a true standout “I want to be someone who inspires others to be their best selves. I think that’s what’s so important about being in the public eye; you have the power to make a difference, and I want to use that power for good,” she once said. More so, it only proves that the actress is an ultimate beauty girl — one that has a face that is as beautiful as her heart.
On her fragrance story
Her enthusiasm for makeup and skincare comes as no surprise — after all, she is a beauty girl. But one surprising fact about the young star is her affinity for fragrances. “I think my love for scents started when I was a teen,” she reminisced as she confessed that her curiosity began when she became more conscious of the way she smelled around people. “I started small by collecting colognes. And that eventually led me to collect perfumes!” As for Belle Mariano’s favorite scent of all time? “It’s still Juicy Cologne Dreamsicle And Up! Up and Away.”
On her selections
As we closed our conversation, the young star decoded her fragrance selections. “ It really depends on the mood I’m in,” she said. “There are times when I crave sweet-smelling colognes and perfumes. And there are moments when I don’t!” Yet the question remains: What scent category does she like wearing on the daily? “As for my everyday fragrance, I like wearing something that smells clean and fresh.”
Meanwhile, her red carpet scent choice is something that is quite personal. “I like fragrances that are not overbearing but are also a head-turner,” she shared. Her secret? Scent layering. “I’m actually a fan of combining different perfumes. I think It creates a scent that matches no one and also lasts longer.”
