Wits, Beauty, and Grace: Reese Tayag-Regua Glows in the Flow of Life

In a world where an expression of power, a show of strength, and an exhibition of dominance are often glorified, Reese Tayag-Regua shares how the soft touch of femininity can flow through life’s criticisms and adversities without losing a healthy relationship with herself

Power is frequently identified with brawns and brains, but beauty and brains aren’t discussed well enough. While there’s nothing wrong with the gripping strength of muscles, one’s elegance, radiant beauty, and charming personality can also cause ripples of power. Femininity has a rein that commands people and influences decisions. 

Sereese Beauty founder and influencer Reese Tayag Regua can strut and make heads turn with just a click of her heels. No matter where she is—on the streets or behind the cameras—she exudes a certain light of beauty and confidence. So, when she came into the studio, and we briefed her about the production, she heartily and eagerly went for it. She did not just want to be true to others; she also wanted to be true to herself—an authentic story about who she is and how glowing in the flow of life can make a difference. 

Standing Out in the Crowd

It’s no secret that social media loves Reese. You’ve probably seen her at some point on Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube. With content on life, business, and just about anything under the sun, something special always captures the audience. 

Being in the spotlight means getting a lot of attention, and when asked about what it means for her, she said, “I like the idea of being unique.”

With millions of followers from all social media sites, Reese has proven herself to be just that. And for pessimists and skeptics out there who want to mess with her content, she’s learned how to shake it off. “I don’t really pay attention to them [haters]. I put my energy [in]to those who appreciate what I do,” she pointed out. 

But this did not stop Reese from doing what she loves. In this digital age, social media platforms have proven to be great driving forces to sway the minds of consumers, but to her, they’re more than that. “For me I will always use this platform to do good and become an inspiration especially to the younger generation.” 

The Goal to Glow in Life

With alluring looks, glowing fair skin, and a charming character, Reese makes everything fun and relatable. But for her, beauty is not just about physical appearance. “Beauty is a reflection of one’s values. Beauty lies in you when no one is watching, yet you still choose to do the right thing even when there is no benefit to you in the outcome of a situation,” Reese elaborated. “My glow comes from within my pure heart and intentions.”

With this glow, Reese gives her energy only to people and things that matter the most—her family. As a wife to her husband, Ryan Regua, and mother to two boys, Rance and Royce, she ensures they always feel loved and taken care of, just as they make her feel the same. 

“My relationship with [my family] is very healthy and stable,” Reese said, describing how her relationship with her family grows even with a busy schedule sometimes. 

People may think Reese has it all, but the truth is, she’s still continuously learning a lot of things. Her goal is to “make an impact and change people’s lives”. While she doesn’t know how to exactly do that, Reese thinks she’s living her dream by doing what she loves and helping others through Sereese Beauty. 

Going with the Flow 

To thrive, survive, and live, we must be surrounded by others. We all must be part of a community to comfort us in times of need. We achieve more when we band together, and for Reese, it’s teaming up with her Sereese Beauty family. 

Reese values her team and enjoys what she does with them. “I love being a brand owner. I think It’s my calling [because] I’ve never been happier.”

The flow of life is constantly changing, so Reese had to learn how to adapt and overcome difficult situations because nothing is ever perfect. Sometimes, going against the current makes things even harder, so she lets the stream take her and deal with it the way she knows. “I go with the flow by becoming aware and attending to what my consumers’ wants and needs are.” 

By being flexible in different life and work environments, her fluidity allows her to explore various solutions. “Being flexible really helps me avoid getting overwhelmed or stifled by change.” And in learning how to manage problems: “I have learned that I am able to deal with unexpected challenges quickly and calmly when I’m openly flexible.”

Going with the flow also means trusting the process. For Reese, that means making things your own and taking your time. “I personally use my own products, in fact, it took me two years before I launched my first few releases.” 

Patience pays off when people keep trying, and that’s what Reese and her team did. 

Everyone’s cheering on the doers and the dreamers, but today we applaud the triers. 

A Purpose: The Lotus Flower

Lotus Flowers symbolize rising from a dark place into beauty and rebirth. In Reese’s journey of finding a purpose, she realized that she wanted Sereese Beauty to be a beacon of hope. 

Sereese beauty changed so many lives including Reese’s. It’s a representation of how women are challenged every single day, yet they always have their way of overcoming these challenges, which is why there’s a lotus flower in the products’ packaging.

“Out of the murky mud of life, [the] lotus flower still grows purely and beautifully, trusting its own unfolding.” This is how significant the lotus flower is for her brand. 

The word Sereese was derived from Reese’s name because she proudly represents her brand. “I want to create a brand that is honest and trustworthy. I am 100% transparent when it comes to my products, and I allow customers to be part of the process. I stay true to our claims and I always make sure we are backed-up with studies, research and tests.”

As skin is our first layer of protection against the sun, dirt, and infections, it is our duty to take care of our body’s natural barrier. Sereese Beauty offers products such as Sun Milk, Intense Whitening Body Lotion, Whitening Milk Soap, Milky Boost Intense Whitening Whipped Scrub, and Poreless White Glow Serum that nourishes, repairs, and improves our skin texture.

Reese details that she reviews all her products. “When I develop a product, I always consider my target audience. I want to make them feel valued. I really pay attention to all the details like the packaging, content, and price points to its effectiveness. Opening a Sereese beauty product should be a whole new experience.”

Everything she does is always from the heart, so while perfection can’t always be achieved, she strives to make all the things in her life to be empowering. 

With a growing business at hand, the future always excites Reese. “I’m excited to see non-stop innovation, science-led products, and more new concept ideas for Sereese Beauty.”

The Art and Power of Being A Woman

The future is full of possibilities in this technological landscape, where everything seems to be just one click away. This digital transformation provides new avenues and spaces for women to innovate ideas and pioneer key strategies in beauty, fashion, education, and whatever else they put their minds to. 

In a room full of business suits and oxford shoes, Reese stands tall and proud with her hot pink blazer dress and killer pumps.

Reese is someone who inspires and encourages others to strive for greatness. “I don’t do everything for myself only, but [also] for those who are around me.” She’s grateful for all the “emotional growth and support” she has received from all the people who have believed in her since day one. 

Thinking about the future of the beauty industry, Reese said,  “The beauty industry is in the spotlight of rapid growth in the future. We continuously innovate, so there’s so much passion and learning. People are now starting to become aware of the system, ingredients and the importance of each, and we’re being more mindful with our purchases.”

Beauty products are her territory, and as a woman who manages a team, she always leads with grace and kindness. While some underestimate the characteristics of being a woman, she mentioned that “my soft skills and emotional intelligence are a few of my competitive advantages.”

With everything Reese has achieved and with the many sides and facets she’s shown to everyone, success is more than business metrics. For her, it’s about everyone. “Success for me is being a part of someone else’s success story. When you are secure about yourself, and you find yourself being genuinely happy and celebrating other people’s victories, that to me is success.”
