Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha starring the much-awaited Kim Seon Ho-Shin Min Ah pairing is coming soon.
We can’t contain our excitement to see the next pair we’re going to love in their new drama. The dimple couple, Kim Seon Ho and Shin Min-Ah will star in Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, which is a remake of 2004 South Korean film, Mr. Handy, Mr. Hong.
It was announced last June 23, 2021 in Seoul that Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, a rom-com about a pragmatic dentist and an unemployed man, will premiere sometime soon in Netflix. It’s going to be directed by Yoo Je Won, whose works include Hye Bye Mama and Abyss.
Shin Min Ah stars as Yoon Hye-jin, who opens up a dental clinic in the seaside village of Gongjin. She’s got beauty and brains, but also a clumsy side to her. While strict and a perfectionist, she’s got a warm heart deep inside.
Kim Seon Ho stars as Hong Du-sik, who is technically unemployed but takes on odd jobs and helps everyone in the village. From delivering food to working at a convenience store, he’s a jack of all trades. Smart and caring, he’s the hero of the village you can count on whenever you need assistance. The pair meet in the beautiful seaside village and they feel attracted to each other despite being complete opposites. An exciting rom-com is in store as we see their stories unfold.
Where you last saw them
Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha will be the Shin Min-Ah’s comeback drama after two years. She last appeared in Tomorrow With You where she played alongside Lee Je Hoon. The drama was received positively because of their strong chemistry. Hence, people are looking forward to her next co-star since she’s known for effortlessly showing good chemistry with all she’s worked with.
On the other side, Kim Seon Ho skyrocketed to fame due to his role as Han Jip Yeong, aka “Good Boy” in Netflix’ 2020 series, Startup. Remember the times when Kim Seon Ho’s character gave us major second lead syndrome? People felt bad for their favorite second lead as he didn’t get the girl in the end, so, fans are excited for Seon Ho to get his happy ending in his new drama, and even more so being paired up with one of South Korea’s best, Shin Min Ah.
Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha will premiere only on Netflix.
